On 28 October 2021, to celebrate the 175th anniversary of great Master Chef August Escoffier, Disciples Escoffier International, as well as epicureans from all over the world, will unite on the same evening under the same menu and the same ambition: the promotion of the excellence of French cuisine in the world accompanied by an act of charity. These are the principles of the Epicure’s Dinners created in 1912 by «the Chef of the Kings and the King of the Chefs».

 

On that day, in more than 30 countries, "wherever men of taste can meet around a good table" thousands of people will pay tribute to Auguste Escoffier and to French gastronomy.

 

Hong Kong Epicure's Dinner will be held on 28 October 2021 in the splendid Diamond Ballroom at The Ritz Carlton Hotel.

 

With Cesar Ritz, Master Auguste Escoffier defined fine dining and luxury hospitality century ago. In the late 19th century, Escoffier and Ritz launched together the Savoy, the Carlton and the Ritz hotels, the first modern luxury hotels in Europe and North America, pioneering unprecedented standards of quality in service and elegant dining valid until now.

 

As of the 175th birth anniversary of the great Master Auguste Escoffier this year, Disciples Escoffier international Hong Kong Delegation has brought our honourable guests the luxurious dining experience at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, as a mean of paying tribute to the friendship between Auguste Escoffier and Cesar Ritz.
